1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Ummah Hub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ummah Hub mobile application (the "App") and the website located at www.ummahhubusa.com (the "Site"), provided by YAM SOFTWARE & VISUALS LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our App or Site (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Ummah Hub provides a central resource platform designed for the Muslim community, initially focusing on Orange County, California. The Services offer features including, but not limited to, a directory of local Masjids, Halal restaurants, and Islamic services ("Places"), a listing of community events ("Events"), calculation of Prayer Times, Qibla direction finding, and the ability for users to save favorite Places and Events (collectively, "Content").

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, such as saving favorites, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information (including your password) and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may register using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In (when available). Your use of Google or Apple Sign-In is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as necessary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services:

  • In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
  • To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services, or which, as determined by us, may harm us or users of the Services or expose them to liability.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Ummah Hub, our employees, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Services, the server on which the Services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Services.
  • To use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Services for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Services (data scraping is prohibited).

5. Content Disclaimer & User Submissions

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information in our Places directory and Events listings, the Content is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any Content available through the Services. Users should independently verify information (e.g., business hours, event details) before relying on it.

Future versions of the App may allow users to submit information about places or events ("User Submissions"). If you provide User Submissions, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content within the Services. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit such information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, screen, or remove User Submissions at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding User Submissions), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of YAM SOFTWARE & VISUALS LLC and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by us (e.g., links to Masjid websites, event organizers, restaurants). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

8. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

YAM SOFTWARE & VISUALS LLC does not warrant that a) the Services will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Services will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall YAM SOFTWARE & VISUALS LLC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (iii) any content obtained from the Services; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless YAM SOFTWARE & VISUALS LLC and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) Content posted on the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and potentially through other means (e.g., in-app notice). By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
